Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a General Laborer for its packaging and processing operations in Pasco, Washington. This role supports case packing, tote handling, sanitation, and quality checks on the line in a fast-paced food production environment.

Key duties include loading totes, inspecting product, stacking cases, and following a strict cleaning routine while wearing PPE. A High School Diploma or GED and reliable work ethic are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 12 months of prior work experience.
• Ability to work in refrigerated and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Operates a product hopper to dump frozen product on the packaging line.
• Builds cardboard totes, tapes and inserts corner posts.
• Loads cardboard totes into tote erector, inserts liner and tote corners into finished tote.
• Inspects product for defects and removes foreign material from vegetables on a conveyor belt.
• Works in the high care room to close totes of product on the conveyor.
