Stabilus USA in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Packaging Process Engineer to specify, coordinate, and manage packaging solutions across suppliers, customers, and internal teams. You will help achieve cost, delivery, quality, and safety targets while driving packaging improvements and new product introductions.

The role emphasizes leadership in process improvement, data management in SAP, and collaboration with engineering, quality, and sales to meet customer requirements and continuous cost

Competenze

• BS in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field.
• Hazardous Materials Management course within 90 days of hire and renewal every 2 years.
• Continuous education in time management, project management, and LMS systems.

Mansioni

• Coordinate packaging plan submissions through customer portals (e.g., OLCT, VPACS, GPP).
• Maintain packaging data sheets, SAP pack records, and labeling programs.
• Investigate and resolve packaging production issues to meet cost targets.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to reduce in-transit product damage.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives for new packaging introductions and cost reductions.
