NaphCare is hiring a Repackaging Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team at our Corporate Headquarters located in Birmingham, AL.
NaphCare Rx, is NaphCare's in-house pharmacy dedicated solely to correctional facilities across the country. Connected by our operations management software and EHR, TechCare, NaphCare Rx pharmacists become an integrated, essential part of the clinical team, from electronic medicine orders and secure delivery to pharmacy consultation and review. NaphCare Rx also extends purchasing discounts and cost savings directly to our partners and employees.
Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, the Repackaging Pharmacy Technician is responsible for receiving and filling prescription requests for patients and completing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
This is a full-time, on-site position with evening shift hours of 2pm - 11pm. Shifts will either be Tuesday - Saturday, or Sunday - Thursday.
As the Repackaging Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for receiving and filling prescriptions for correctional patients, employees, and public health client patients. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:
