Job summary

OSI is seeking a packaging/line operator to support tapering processes in our Wisconsin facility. The role involves setting up the line, folding and boxing items, and feeding boxes through the taper while ensuring proper code dates are applied.

You will also stack finished products, assist with rework removal, comply with GMP standards, and report any unusual activities or safety concerns to management promptly. A proactive, safety‑minded approach is essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Turn on and off taper and set up the line
• Fold boxes into shape and place inner liner in the box
• Close box and feed it into the taper
• Stack taped boxes according to the product's stacking pattern
• Check that the correct code date has been applied
• Assist in removal of any rework
• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Report any unusual activities in or around the plant to management ASAP
• Work safely and report unsafe conditions to management ASAP
• Other duties to maintain department operation as needed
• Understand and apply safety procedures through training, PPE and compliance with policies
