Job summary

Nature's Sunshine is seeking a packaging technician to set up, operate, and maintain packaging lines. You will work with fillers, capper, labelers, and related equipment, ensuring accuracy of production records and cleanliness to avoid contamination.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to GMPs and SOPs, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods, with training and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general packaging processes.
• Knowledge of GMPs and SOPs.
• Good manual dexterity skills.

Responsibilities

• Trains newly hired employees and carries out temporary employee orientations
• Fills out paperwork correctly

Job description

Performs the following types of duties: sets up, operates, and cleans the product fillers, metal detectors, cappers, cap sealers, automatic labelers, scales, conveyors, lot coders, heat tunnels, turntables, Cello equipment, and pumps; folds boxes; palletizes products and hand packages some products; inputs and maintains accurate production records and reports; cleans and sanitizes all containers, equipment, and room surfaces to avoid contamination; works in production rooms as assigned; focus' on continuous improvements for all aspects of job duties; performs other related duties as assigned.
