Job summary

fairlife, LLC is hiring a Packaging Operator in Goodyear, AZ. The role involves setting up and operating labeling, case packing, blow molding, and palletizing equipment while ensuring products meet specifications.

You will clean and troubleshoot lines, changeovers, and assist with training new personnel. We seek individuals with a high school diploma or GED, solid communication skills, basic math, and the ability to operate equipment after a training period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math and reasoning abilities required.
• Ability to operate packaging equipment after training.
• Must possess or obtain an industrial truck operator license and understand line controls.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, GMP and food safety rules.
• Report to and follow directions of the Production Supervisors.
• Safely operate packaging equipment and adjust process to produce defect-free cases.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to SOPs.
• Inspect formed cases, labeled bottles and carriers for conformance.
• Stop or reset machines during malfunctions and clear jams.
• Provide materials to packaging lines and assist with line changes.
• Monitor production line for jams and resolve issues promptly.
• Escalate issues per escalation procedures.
• Count and record finished and rejected materials.
• Clean packaging equipment and maintain a ready-for-audit area.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs with proper tools.
• Assist in training new personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
