Lifeway Foods, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate sleeving and packaging machines, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality production.

The role requires following procedures, checking date codes, and communicating machine status to supervisors to maintain department efficiency. High school diploma or equivalent is required; basic math, report writing, and proficiency with manufacturing software and MS Office are important.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write reports and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills and understanding of algebra/geometry.
• Follow SOPs/SSOPs and maintain quality standards.
• Experience with manufacturing/inventory software and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Operate and clean sleeving and packaging machines.
• Ensure sleeves are correctly applied and bottles do not back up.
• Put away sleeves as needed and check date codes.
• Communicate machine status to supervisor or Plant Manager.
• Relieve other operators during downtime to maintain efficiency.
• Assist with unloading/loading trailers and refilling cap totes.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on machines.
• Adhere to HACCP, FDA, EPA, OSHA, USDA, and WDA guidelines.
