Job summary

Quantix SCS LLC in Morris, IL is seeking a Packaging Operator to safely operate packaging equipment, ensure product integrity, and follow GPPs. The role focuses on contamination prevention, standardized processes, and meeting customer requirements on the assigned pack-out line.

Responsibilities include setting up lines, performing blowdowns, validating paperwork, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while supporting the Packaging Lead and management as needed.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of Warehouse experience.
• 6–12 months of Operations experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Flexibility to work with different crews and shifts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 55 lbs. and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain safe packaging and material handling processes within EHS and Quality policy guidelines.
• Adhere to Good Packaging Practices (GPPs) to maintain product integrity.
• Perform complete blowdowns per customer quality standards.
• Assist the Packaging Lead in setting up packaging lines and transferring hoses to railcars.
• Verify and initial paperwork before starting new packaging orders; review and initial test prints.
