Job summary

Advance Local is seeking part-time team members for our Harrisburg production facility. You will insert advertisements into our newspapers and those of our clients, inspect items for quality, and help create bundles to meet the print schedule.

The role requires basic math and reading skills, the ability to stand for long periods, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Forklift experience is a plus, and safety shoes are provided along with a shoe allowance and hearing protection.

As a prominent daily commercial print company, we are seeking part-time team members to work in our seven-day a week Production facility. We believe in a collaborative environment where production excellence is standard, producing products that are delivered on time and of the highest quality. Early evening shift start. Shift ends when production print schedule is complete (generally around 11 or 11:30 pm). Shift schedule may include weekend evening(s). Forklift experience a plus. Warehouse associates welcome to apply. This isn’t a seasonal position. We're hiring for regular, ongoing part-time team members.

What you’ll be doing:

• Inserting advertisements into our newspapers and those of our clients.
• Responsible for inspecting items to ensure quality and appearance
• Responsible for creating accurate bundles for distribution
• Aiding team members in achieving on-time production deadlines
• Maintaining a clean production floor

• Benefits include paid time off and holiday pay rate.

Position requires basic math and reading skills, along with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Steel-toe safety shoes are required.

• Safety shoe allowance is provided annually.
• Hearing protection aids are also provided by the company.
