Description

• Understand and follow Food Safety policies.
• Must be willing to work flexible schedules and work in other departments including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read and understand recipes.
• Ability to troubleshoot process-related issues within the boundaries of the recipe.
• Ability to use digital scales and have a working knowledge of scale functions.
• Ability to mix doughs according to recipe, with a working knowledge of the mixer, using the time and batch recipe system.
• Follow FIFO (First in First Out), document lot numbers accurately, and refill ingredient bins, labeling them with the correct lot number.
• Work in a standing position for entire shift, climb steps and ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Monitor and assist with upstream/downstream equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Clean mixers and work areas during and after production runs or changeovers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Observe all plant safety, GMP, and allergen procedures and attend training sessions.
• Ensure manufacturing, distribution, and maintenance of safe, quality food by following GMP, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, and SQF requirements.
• Immediately report all food safety and quality issues to your supervisor.
• Support the shift team as needed and follow supervisor’s directives.

Requirements

• Experience with operating and maintaining production machines to ensure efficiency.
