Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Six months Packaging Operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Operate automatic packaging equipment and document activities accurately.
  • Participate in safety programs and ensure a clean working area.

Work Hours/Shift/Remote

Must be willing and able to work any assigned shift (first, second, or third). Work schedule may be Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, or a combination thereof based on business needs.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Perform all functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Document packaging activities accurately and legibly in Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) and Logbook.
  • Determine when to stop a line related to safety or quality issues.
  • Operate automatic packaging equipment.
  • Feed filling equipment and palletize finished products.
  • Perform line cleaning, segregate waste, and return unused materials/products.
  • Participate in safety programs and teams as needed.
  • Reconcile product bulk, materials, packaging, and printed materials.
  • Follow safety regulations and ensure a clean working area.
  • Adhere to Cipla's Safety, Health, and Environmental policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • Six (6) months Packaging Operator experience in an automated environment preferred.
Skills/Competencies
  • Knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and FDA regulations.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Flexible, adaptable, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.

Physical Demands
  • Stand or walk for extended periods.
  • See, talk, hear, smell, and perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Use of PPE required.
