Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Wilson, NC is seeking a FreeFlex Bag Packaging Operator II to perform inspection, cleaning, loading of commodities, setup, size changeovers, and startup activities for the batch process. This role operates under moderate supervision from the Production Supervisor.

The position requires adherence to SOPs and cGMPs, with responsibilities including troubleshooting packaging equipment, performing basic maintenance, and documenting batch records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, cleaning, loading commodities, setup, size changeover startup activities, and the normal operation of the batch.
• May perform minor to moderate maintenance on production lines.
• Set up Inspection Machine (IM) and the Packaging Equipment; troubleshoot ITD for Inspection Machine and packaging robots.
• Troubleshoot packaging equipment and ensure adherence to SOPs and Good Documentation Practice.
• Operate advanced HMI applications and document work in batch records and logbooks.
• Adhere to SOPs, cGMPs and Safety Requirements.
• Shadow training of Packaging Operators III.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Ensure compliance to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.

Job Summary

The FreeFlex Bag Packaging Operators II are responsible for the Inspection process, cleaning, loading all the commodities, setup, size changeover, startup activities, performing minor maintenance, and the normal operation of the batch. Additionally, they may be assigned tasks related to the general upkeep of the area, size change overs, setting up the line, and performing minor maintenance. All these activities are governed by strict procedures and regulations and require a high degree of training, as well as working under moderate supervision from the Production Supervisor.

Hourly Range: $15.58 - $22.99

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT

• Inspection, cleaning, loading all the commodities, setup, size changeover startup activities, and the normal operation of the batch.
• May perform Minor to Moderate maintenance and preventative maintenance of production lines.
• Master set-up of Inspection Machine (IM) and the Packaging Equipment. Ability to troubleshoot ITD for Inspection Machine and troubleshoot Packaging robots, case labeler, leaflet machine, and case taper.
• Adept at problem solving. Specifically, to identify problem, developing solution, and execute corrections while adhering to all applicable SOPs
• Perform peer to peer batch record documentation review throughout the shift to ensure documentation is accurate and in alignment to the Good Documentation Practice standards
• Ability to operate advanced HMI applications.
• Documenting work accurately and in a timely manner in the batch record and/or logbooks.
• Adheres to SOP’s, cGMP’s, and Safety Requirements.
• Performs “shadow” training of Packaging Operators III.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.
