Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Packaging Operator I for the 1st shift (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM) in Villa Rica, GA. You will package a variety of products per customer specifications and perform visual inspections, weighing, counting, and labeling tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating packaging machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace with adherence to safety programs and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects product for defects and transfers defective items to the appropriate location.
• Manual weighing and counting of product.
• Loads product into packaging machines, monitors machines for proper function.
• Unloads and visually inspects packaged product to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Places packaged product into boxes. Applies identification labels to boxes.
