Job summary

ALPLA, a global leader in sustainable packaging, is hiring in Missouri for a manufacturing operator role. You will run and maintain packaging equipment such as carton erectors and product inserters, perform line changeovers, and ensure accurate labeling and quality checks.

The role includes loading and packaging bottles, handling materials, and documenting production records. Expect long shifts, lifting up to 55 lbs, and a strong emphasis on safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Capable of lifting 55 pounds and standing for long shifts.
• Ability to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously.
• Must maintain high cleanliness standards for machines and work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot packaging equipment (carton erectors, partition inserters, product inserters, foil dispensers, top closers, palletization equipment).
• Manual tasks: loading, building and making boxes; hand packaging of bottles; loading labels.
• Maintenance: routine cleaning and minor maintenance for smooth operations.
• Material handling: loading/unloading packaging materials (corrugate, containers, etc.).
• Documentation: record finished goods, packaging specs, perform changeovers, apply labels, conduct quality checks, housekeeping, autonomous maintenance.
