Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is recruiting a Conversion Operator for our manufacturing client in Huntington Beach, CA. You will support the production department by operating packaging equipment and ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role offers a steady schedule (Tue-Sat, 7:00am–3:30pm) with weekend off, starting pay of $20.25 per hour and opportunities for growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform some lifting (<50 lbs).
• Legible handwriting skills for documentation purposes.
• Effective understanding of routine oral and written instructions.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to package roll material from the winder according to work order instructions.
• Load and unload rolls safely, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
• Prepare samples of finished products and manage printing and labeling for customer shipments.
• Perform machine set-ups following standard procedures and work order plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies.
