The Performance Group in Mountville, PA is seeking a Packer for production lines at a local facility. This temp-to-hire position offers steady shifts and hourly pay between $15.50 and $16.50. Work includes packing, labeling, and quality checks with opportunities to move into full-time roles.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with basic math and English skills. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate boxes, bags and cases.
• Basic math calculation skills.
• Understanding of basic principles of food safety policies/procedures.
• Ability to read and speak basic English.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and various shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up boxes and/or bags or containers for packaging finished product or bulk material.
• Ensure containers are correctly labeled and oriented per specification.
• Maintains proper count of pieces and number of containers packed in a case.
• Applies notes for container integrity and placement code date or other labels.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment during the shift and assist with cleanup.
• Report food safety and quality issues and initiate action as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures as outlined by company policy.
