Job summary

North Freeze Dry is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate the packaging line in Little Falls, MN. You will load recipes, monitor equipment, and ensure quality and efficiency per production plans.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in manufacturing, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) match, PTO and holidays; overtime may be available in a food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years working experience in a manufacturing/production facility preferred.
• Ability to follow food safety, quality and workplace safety procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification and willingness to obtain/maintain.

Responsibilities

• Produces the required quantity of batched recipes within specifications and production plan.
• Inspects ingredients and in-process materials for quality and recipe adherence.
• Maintains logs/records of produced units and rejected materials.
• Performs pre-operational checks, preventive maintenance, and inspections.
• Executes quality and sanitation tasks per program and schedule.
• Reports maintenance and quality opportunities to supervisors/managers.
• Interfaces with ERP system to manage inventory and traceability.
• Keeps a clean, safe, orderly work area.
