Job summary

Monroechamber is seeking a Packaging Operator in a clean, fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role pays $18.45 per hour on the 1st shift (5:00am-3:00pm) and involves operating the packaging line, changeovers, and quality checks to meet customer specifications.

You will perform product verifications, maintain GMP compliance, and record production data while handling brine forms as needed. Forklift certified applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Operate and monitor all packaging line equipment including setup and changeovers.
• Follow production schedules to meet customer specs and quality standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work area per GMP and sanitation protocols.
• Perform product verification like labels, code dates, and metal detector results.
• Report unsafe conditions and adhere to safety and PPE protocols.
• Keep accurate production records and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging line equipment with inspections.
• Ensure packaging meets specs and quality standards.
• Maintain GMP-compliant cleanliness and organization.
• Document metal detector checks and verifications.
• Support brine and panela form handling as needed.
