Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to assist with moving work in process and finished product through press and finishing. You will load WIP, unload, pack finished product, make boxes, and load skids, supporting operators and ensuring accurate sequencing.

You must be able to learn quickly, work well in a team, follow safety rules, communicate effectively, maintain attendance, and be prepared for overtime when production is busy.

Responsibilities

• Catch product after the printing, affixing, or shrink wrap processes.
• Verify sequence numbers are correct.
• Assemble empty boxes as needed.
• Verify box count and package product per job ticket.
• Assist Operators in locating product.
• Understand and follow Quality Control requirements for each job.
• Ensure product data integrity.
• Maintains clean and orderly workspace.
• Follows product flow instructions.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
