Smurfit Westrock Springfield is seeking a Production Team Member to operate converting machines and help produce corrugated packaging. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, attendance and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $22.07 per hour, with shifts from 5am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, plus overtime and potential shift differential on 2nd shift. Benefits include health insurance, 401k with company match and more.

Qualifications

• A safety mindset and commitment to safe work practices.
• Experience with high-speed, high-volume manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a hot environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and identify defects.
• Willingness to work mandatory OT including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Operate converting machines to produce corrugated packaging.
• Perform routine maintenance and adjust machine settings.
• Inspect products for defects and take corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Mentor new team members and assist with loading/unloading materials.
