Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Production Associate to perform routine manufacturing and packaging tasks in designated production areas. You will support the Production Supervisor to meet daily targets while maintaining a safe work environment and contributing to the Target Zero safety goal.

Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, ensuring proper labeling/coding, performing setup per SOPs, and maintaining equipment cleanliness. Flexibility for shift coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Basic mathematical calculations at a high school level and basic proficiency with hand tools.
• Physical requirements: lift and move up to 30-50 pounds, stand up to four hours, and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and assist in developing operating procedures.
• Maintain equipment in clean and good working order.
• Perform setup operations per SOPs.
• Produce products according to daily production schedule and priorities.
• Follow packaging procedures and ensure correct labeling and coding of products.
• Prevent contamination during batch changeovers per SOPs.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by Production Supervisor.
• Develop knowledge of production resource numbers, label groups, and packaging materials.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and lubrication and inspect for wear or damage.
• Notify supervisor of equipment issues requiring repair.
• Flexibility to work alternate shifts as needed.
