Job summary

Proper Beverage Company is seeking a Packaging Operator in Kentwood, MI. The role focuses on operating and monitoring packaging equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality packaging while assisting Production Associates as needed. You will back up Filler operations when required and collaborate with QC and supervisors to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail is required.
Forklift experience is preferred.
Experience with packaging equipment or willingness to learn is needed.
Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues is important.
Ability to follow instructions accurately is essential.
Good communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds is required.
Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

End-of-Line Production Support: remove finished goods, stack on pallets, ensure labeling and counts.
Core Production Duties: operate packaging equipment, monitor supplies, coordinate with QC and Logistics.
Specialized Duties: maintain knowledge of Filler operations to backup when needed.
