Job summary

Altium Packaging in Tracy, California is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products. You will load, move materials and operate packaging equipment while adhering to GMP and safety policies.

Duties include monitoring lines, clearing jams, inspecting bottles, replenishing packaging materials, labeling accuracy, and moving finished goods.

• Basic computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
• Demonstrates a teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
• Keeps the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Loads, moves material and operates packaging equipment.
• Inspects bottle quality during production, packaging and labeling.
• Escalates bottle abnormalities and quality issues when found.
• Maintains inventory levels of packaging materials and replenishes as needed.
• Moves finished goods to designated area.
• Assists with setup and organization of workstations.
• Overtime may be required.
