Job summary

ITW in Troy, Ohio is seeking a hands-on packer to assemble and package stick electrodes per customer requests. The role requires physical labor, reliability, and the ability to lift up to ~50 pounds, with a forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities include scanning loads into GAP, stretch wrapping, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and being willing to cross-train and take on other duties as needed by supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED strongly preferred and be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to pass reading and math assessments.
• Able to lift approx. 50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Possess an excellent quality record.
• Possess an excellent attitude and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pack stick electrodes into various package sizes per customer request.
• Scan loads into GAP properly.
• Perform stretch wrap duties.
• Be safety conscious and have a "safety first" attitude.
• Obtain a forklift license and be physically capable of driving one.
• Must be able to keep the packaging area clean, neat, orderly, and safe at all times.
• Must be flexible to perform any other duties as required by supervisor.
