Ohio Laser, Inc., based in Plain City, Ohio, is seeking a Material Handler to support the production department by moving, storing, and tracking inventory in the fabrication and warehouse facility. You will load/unload shipments and ensure materials reach production or shipping efficiently and safely.

Candidates should be able to read work instructions, use ERP and barcode systems, operate a lift truck, and keep the work area clean.

Responsabilidades

• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning to track materials accurately.
• Palletize and wrap product according to packaging and shipment instructions.
• Confirm item labels and counts, enter counts in ERP, print receiving labels and transport material to stock location.
• Unload trucks, confirm material identification, enter counts in ERP, print receiving labels and transport material to stock location.
• Keep work area clean, neat and orderly.
• Run secondary operations on other machines when required.
• De- tab or de-burr parts with grinders and sanders.
• Train other employees in the requirements of the position.
• Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
• Wear safety equipment and follow all safety rules and procedures as required and directed.

Ohio Laser, Inc is seeking a Material Handler for the daily functions of the production department. You will move, store and track inventory in fabrication and warehouse facility. This position is responsible for loading/unloading shipments of materials. Ensuring materials reach proper production or shipping, focusing on efficiency, organization, and safety by following procedures. You will be handling parts from pallets, trucks, containers, totes and boxes. You will be responsible for selecting, counting, and maintaining inventory.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning tools to track materials accurately.
• Palletize and wrap product according to specific packaging and shipment instructions
• Confirm item labels
• Unload trucks, confirm material identification, enter counts in ERP, print receiving labels and transport material to stock location
• Keep work area clean, neat and orderly
• Run secondary operations on other machines when required
• De- tab or de-burr parts with grinders and sanders
• Train other employees in the requirements of the position
• Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor
• Wear safety equipment and follow all safety rules and procedures as required and directed
• Other Miscellaneous assignments as requested
• Good attendance is a must!
