Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Packaging Operator in Buffalo, NY to safely operate packaging machinery and related production equipment. You will follow SOPs, perform startup/shutdowns, monitor quality and food safety documentation, and maintain equipment with attention to detail.

The role requires good communication, teamwork, and willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and overtime. Pay rate starts at $23/hour, with opportunities to advance through Operator I-III levels as you gain

Qualifications

Knowledge of safety rules and SOPs.
Ability to learn new tasks and equipment.
Attention to detail in a fast-paced production setting.
Strong communication with team and supervision.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Willingness to perform sanitation and basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Operate packaging or production equipment under supervision or independently as skilled.
Follow SOPs for startup, shutdown, and changeovers.
Monitor equipment performance and process stability; raise issues as needed.
Record production data and maintain quality and food safety documentation.
Use PPE properly and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Collaborate with maintenance and cross-train with other lines as required.
