Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong motivation, organization, and time management.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Color discrimination ability required.

Responsibilities

• Fill bags or totes to proper weight per specifications.
• Seal bags to prevent leakage.
• Stack finished product on pallets neatly.
• Label product with code, lot, and markings.
• Sample product for lab and customer and inspect for contaminants.
• Maintain documentation of packaged product, rework, and scrap.
• Inspect equipment and report problems.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP for safety and compliance.
• Staging ingredients and cleaning your area.
• Clean and sanitize packaging equipment and work area.
• Perform CIP and COP processes to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform basic maintenance with hand tools.
• Other duties may be assigned.
