Responsibilities include filling bags to specified weights, sealing, labeling, sampling for quality, documenting production, and ensuring GMPs and HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong motivation, organization, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Color distinction is required.
• Ability to contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill bags or totes to proper weight per specifications.
• Ensure bags are properly sealed to prevent leakage.
• Stack finished product on pallets neatly for transport.
• Label product with code, lot number, and markings.
• Sample product for lab and customer and inspect for contamination.
• Maintain documentation for packaging, rework, and scrap.
• Inspect equipment and report issues to maintenance.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP for safety and compliance.
• Practice good housekeeping and assist colleagues as needed.
• Clean and sanitize packaging equipment and work area.
• Perform CIP and COP processes to ensure cleanliness.
• Operate basic tools and assist with routine maintenance.
