Job summary

Viatris in West Virginia seeks an Operator, Packaging for the 5th shift to visually inspect, set up production equipment, and ensure proper labeling and clean rooms.

You will document runs, assist in training new staff, perform basic instrument calibration, and coordinate with the Senior Operator to support manufacturing operations. HS diploma and at least two years of experience required; salary ranges $58,240 to $67,000 with a 20% 5th shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect the product during operation and observe equipment for proper operation.
• Assist with the setup and running of Production equipment.
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection and keep the area tidy.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored.
• Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
• Assist in training new personnel in manufacturing operations as directed by the supervisor or manager.
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc.
• Coordinate the work of other Operators and act as back-up to Senior Operator as directed.
