Job summary

Viatris in St. Albans, Vermont, seeks an Operator Packaging for the 2nd shift. You will visually inspect products, assist with production equipment, and ensure proper labeling and clean rooms. You may train new staff and perform device calibrations as directed by supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. A 15% shift differential applies for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience or equivalent education considered.
• Must have basic mechanical and computer skills with Word/Excel.
• Good writing and interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect product during operation and observe equipment.
• Assist setup and running of production equipment.
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of products.
• Document material runs via production records and logs.
• Assist training of new personnel as directed by supervisor.
• Perform calibration on scales and line meters as instructed.
• Coordinate other Operators and back up Senior Operator when needed.
