Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator to join the team on a 2-2-3 rotating shift from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am in Sparks, MD. The role includes manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products within a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality, documenting activities, and performing basic calculations for batch records while maintaining safety and cleanliness at the packaging station.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with basic math and computer software.
• Willingness to work a flexible/rotating shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging to satisfy customer and internal demand.
• Ensure packaging complies with procedures and quality specifications; inspect in-process packaging.
• Maintain documentation of manufacturing activities related to packaging, including device history records.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations for batch records.
• Assist with inventory counts and participate in safety discussions.
• Clean packaging station and processing equipment regularly.
• Follow PPE and contamination control requirements.
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate.

Description

• Responsible for the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging as required to satisfy all customer, internal, clinical, and other demand.
• Ensure finished product is packaged in accordance with procedures and Quality specifications. Inspect in-process packaging, components to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities related to product packaging, including but not limited to device history records and inventory counts.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations required to assist in completion of batch records.
• Assist with inventory counting activities as required. Participate in safety audits as required and actively engage in daily safety discussions/observations.
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment.
• Abide by all personal protective equipment and product contamination control (i.e. gowning) requirements.
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate.
