Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Sparks, MD is seeking a Packaging Operator for 7AM-3:30PM, Monday to Friday, on a 12-month contract. This role focuses on manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products to meet quality specifications.

The position requires a high school diploma/GED and at least 1 year of industry experience, with strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team. Flexibility for overtime and basic math tasks is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging to meet customer, internal, clinical and other demand; ensure compliance with procedures and quality specs.
• Inspect in-process packaging and components to ensure quality; remove defects.
• Maintain documentation of manufacturing activities related to packaging, including device history records and inventory counts.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to assist with batch records.
• Assist with inventory counts; participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions.
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment.
• Comply with PPE and contamination control requirements (gowning).
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate.

Shift: 7AM to 3:30 PM M-F

Description

• Responsible for the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging as required to satisfy all customer, internal, clinical, and other demand. Ensure finished product is packaged in accordance with procedures and Quality specifications.
• Inspect in-process packaging, components to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities related to product packaging, including but not limited to device history records and inventory counts.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations required to assist in completion of batch records.
• Assist with inventory counting activities as required. Participate in safety audits as required and actively engage in daily safety discussions/observations.
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment.
• Abide by all personal protective equipment and product contamination control (i.e. gowning) requirements.
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate.
