Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking an Entry Level Packaging Operator 1 for the 3rd shift (10 pm–6:30 am) in Hunt Valley, MD. This 12-month contract on W2 requires US citizens or GC holders/GC EAD/OPT/EAD/CPT with 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products, plus documentation, inventory counting, and basic batch calculations. Safety, PPE, and proper contamination controls are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of industry work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packaging tasks.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including 3rd shift and OT.
• Familiarity with basic document control and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging to meet customer and internal demand.
• Ensure packaging complies with procedures and quality specs.
• Inspect in-process packaging and components for quality; remove defects.
• Maintain timely documentation for manufacturing activities and batch records.
• Assist with inventory counting and basic batch calculations.
• Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions.
• Clean packaging stations and equipment; follow PPE and contamination controls.
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including static/rotating shifts and OT.

Job Description

• Responsible for the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging as required to satisfy all customer, internal, clinical, and other demand.
• Ensure finished product is packaged in accordance with procedures and Quality specifications.
• Inspect in-process packaging, components to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities related to product packaging, including but not limited to device history records and inventory counts.
• Perform simple mathematical calculations required to assist in completion of batch records. Assist with inventory counting activities as required.
• Participate in safety audits as required and actively engage in daily safety discussions/observations.
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment. Abide by all personal protective equipment and product contamination control (i.e. gowning) requirements.
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate. .
