Job summary

Altium Packaging in Thomasville, NC is seeking an entry level Production Packaging Associate for a 3rd shift. The role involves proper packaging of materials, loading, moving and operating packaging equipment, and following GMP guidelines.

You will monitor lines, inspect bottles, maintain labeling accuracy, restock packaging supplies, and move finished goods as required. Training is provided; overtime may be needed to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Maintains clean and organized work area; monitors conveyors and bottles on production lines.
• Inspects quality of bottles during production, packaging and labeling; performs bottle inspections and drop tests.
• Moves finished goods to designated areas and restocks packaging materials as needed.
• Escalates bottle abnormalities and quality issues immediately and follows production standards.
