Job summary

On-Board Services is seeking a Packaging Operator for a short-term assignment in Assonet, MA. This role is full-time/contract on 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm) with a hourly rate of $18.50.

You will perform package operations, operate dryers and blending equipment, move materials with pallet jacks and forklifts, and complete batch and packaging records. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, mechanical and computer aptitude, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and at least 1 year of forklift

Qualifications

• Minimum HSD/GED required.
• Mechanical and computer aptitude required.
• Able to lift 30-50 lbs.
• At least 1 year forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform package operations of small containers to tote quantities of finished products.
• Operate dryers and blending equipment.
• Performs material movement operations using pallet jacks and fork truck.
• Completion of batch packets and packaging packets for finished goods.
• Observe and adhere to all safety guidelines, SOP's, and best practices.
• Assists the team or work group in identifying improvement opportunities in area of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and implements improved EH&S practices and procedures
