Job summary

On-Board Services in Assonet, MA is hiring a Packaging Operator for the 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm) at our Assonet facility. This full-time/contract position offers $19.00 per hour and a benefits package including 401K, dental, life, medical, and vision insurance.

You will perform packaging operations, operate dryers and blending equipment, move materials with pallet jacks and a forklift, and prepare batch and packaging records while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• Mechanical and computer aptitude.
• Lifting 30–50 lbs.
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging operations of small containers to tote quantities of finished products.
• Operate dryers and blending equipment.
• Move materials using pallet jacks and forklift.
• Complete batch and packaging records for finished goods.
• Follow safety guidelines, SOPs and best practices.
• Support EH&S improvements and implement safer practices.
