Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and good manufacturing practices preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and supporting programs such as sanitation and pest management is a plus.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the packaging process in a manufacturing environment.
• Operate and maintain packaging machinery including casepackers and palletizers.
• Ensure products meet company standards and maintain a clean work area.

Job Description

A packaging operator oversees the packaging process in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining packaging machinery, ensuring products meet company standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Machines operated include casepackers, cartoners, baggers, strippers, and palletizers. Occasional forklift operation may be required.

Desired Skills and Background

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and supporting programs such as sanitation and pest management is a plus.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing and basic computer skills are preferred but not required.
