About The Role: The Auto-Packaging Operator is a skilled individual responsible for the complete operation and maintenance of packaging machinery, including setup, calibration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and quality control, to ensure efficient and accurate product packaging.

Responsibilities:

Operates and Manages Packaging Line: Sets up, calibrates, monitors, and troubleshoots packaging machinery, ensuring accurate and efficient changeovers and applying labels as required to meet production needs

Performs Quality Control and General Operations: Executes necessary quality control duties and a broad range of general operational activities, including discharging, loading, transporting, and cleaning, to ensure a safe and efficient production process

Maintains Equipment and Reports Data: Conducts periodic inspections and minor maintenance on packaging equipment, signals defects, and accurately logs data on production orders and activities

Contributes to Continuous Improvement: Identifies deviations in processes, techniques, or systems, flags opportunities for improvement with the supervisor, and may participate in improvement projects

Ensures Safety, Compliance, and Housekeeping: Works in strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations, promotes awareness of potential hazards, takes appropriate action in unsafe situations, and maintains a clean and safe work area.

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year experience in chemical manufacturing
