Job summary

Coopers Houston is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our industrial manufacturing team in Houston, Texas. You will package products to customer specifications, ensure proper labeling and handling, and support production schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 months of experience in packaging or manufacturing, with a basic understanding of industrial safety and manual material handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 months of experience in packaging, production, manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling roles preferred.
• Industrial or manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of industrial safety procedures.
• Ability to perform manual material handling.
• Ability to follow production instructions.
• Ability to accurately identify and label products.

Responsibilities

• Package finished products according to established procedures and specifications.
• Weigh, identify, label, and record packaged products.
• Prepare finished products according to production schedules.
• Support production operators with intermediate processes.
• Assist with strapping and handling reels, spools, and packaged materials.
• Report production deviations, issues, and operational occurrences to Production Operators or Supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Support basic production tasks as required to maintain workflow.
• Follow company safety, quality, environmental, and production procedures.
• Handle materials safely and responsibly.
• Work effectively with Production and Operations teams.
