Job description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
  1. Move required materials from storage or staging areas to the workspace using material handling equipment.
  2. Package final products into end-user containers according to approved Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  3. Set up, operate, and clean production equipment including weighing scales and filling equipment.
  4. Maintain accurate production records and logs following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  5. Ensure final products meet specified weight tolerances and quality standards.
What’s Needed?
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments.
  3. Ability to perform heavy lifting and handling during an 8-hour shift.
  4. Capability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for a significant portion of the workday.
  5. Must pass physical examinations for forklift operation and respirator fit tests.
