Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Baudette, MN is seeking Production Operators to support packaging operations on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will handle material flow, operate equipment, document batch records, and maintain clean, compliant work areas.

Operator I–III levels offer growth: I (0–2 yrs), II (2–3), III (4–6) with GMP knowledge and mentoring duties. Includes a NEW $2,500 sign‑on bonus for full time and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks on the manufacturing floor.
• Repetitive task ability with attention to detail and quality.
• Basic communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material handling, setup, operation, and breakdown of packaging equipment.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment parts, tools, and work areas according to SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Accurately document activities in batch records and SOPs.
• Inspect products during operations to ensure quality standards.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with high accuracy.
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear required PPE (including hearing protection when applicable).
• (Operator II-III) Operate equipment independently while adhering to GMP and safety standards.
• (Operator III) Troubleshoot complex equipment/process issues and mentor less experienced team members.

Minimum Requirements (All Levels)

• At least 18 years of age.

Operator I

• 0-2 years relevant experience or training preferred (not required).


• Willingness to learn/grow in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Operator II

• 2-3 years relevant experience in manufacturing/pharmaceutical operations preferred.


• Working knowledge of GMP and accurate documentation practices.


• Ability to independently operate moderately complex equipment.

Operator III

• 4-6 years experience operating pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging equipment.


• Proven ability to troubleshoot, guide others, and make process decisions independently.


• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and complex equipment handling.

Shift Information

• 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30am-3:30pm.


• 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 3:15pm-11:15pm (+$1.25/hr shift differential).

Additional Pay

• NEW $2,500 sign-on bonus for Full Time.

Compensation (Base)

• $18.50-26.00/hr depending on experience/skills.

Salary Ranges by Level

• Operator I: $18.50-20.50/hr; Operator II: $20-23/hr; Operator III: $22-26/hr.
