Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking Manufacturing Operators at Operator I–III levels to support daily production on the medical manufacturing floor. Responsibilities include handling, setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment, plus strict adherence to GMP and SOPs.

Roles require accurate documentation, attention to detail, and reliable completion of tasks with proper PPE. Opportunities for advancement exist based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks on manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and quality.
  • Basic communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with material handling, setup, operation and breakdown of manufacturing equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment parts, tools and work areas per SOPs and GMP.

Key Responsibilities (All Levels)

  • (Operator II–III) Operate equipment independently while adhering to GMP and safety standards.
  • (Operator III) Troubleshoot complex equipment/process issues and mentor less experienced team members.
Minimum Requirements (All Levels)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks on the manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail and quality.
  • Basic communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
Operator I
  • 0–2 years relevant experience/training preferred (not required).
  • Willingness to learn/grow in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Operator II
  • 2–3 years relevant experience in manufacturing/pharmaceutical operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of GMP and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to independently operate moderately complex equipment.
Operator III
  • 4–6 years operating pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging equipment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, guide others, and make process decisions independently.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and complex equipment handling.

Shift Schedules
  • 1st Shift: Mon–Fri, 7:30am–3:30pm.
  • 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri, 3:15pm–11:15pm (additional $1.25/hr shift differential).
