Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. in Ottumwa seeks a Production Operations Supervisor to lead packaging lines, drive safety, quality and productivity, and manage scheduling across shifts. You will coach operators, control labor and operating budgets, and champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and TPM practices.

Weekend/holiday flexibility is required. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 2+ years of people management experience; SAP and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of people management experience required or preferred.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement.
• Proficient withMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach production operators in daily/weekly production schedules for multiple packaging lines.
• Manage within labor and operating expense budget.
• Coordinate beverages packaging ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.
• Meet productivity, quality, safety, health, environmental and morale goals for the site.
• Complete and update all necessary production paperwork and records.
• Ensure equipment in the area is in working order and safe at all times.
• Review and analyze production records to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Make long-term recommendations for equipment, processes and productivity improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement through teamwork, skills and capability development.
• Staff, train, evaluate and develop team.
