Job summary

Ascendo Resources is seeking a Packaging Supervisor in New Jersey to oversee daily packaging operations ensuring product quality, food safety, and efficiency. You will supervise lines, set up equipment, code and label products, and enforce GMP and safety procedures.

• Oversee packaging lines, equipment setup, product coding, labeling, and quality standards.
• Monitor production rates, minimize downtime, manage changeovers, and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, GMP, and safety procedures.
• Schedule staff, control labor costs, minimize overtime, and manage attendance and performance.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while maintaining accountability and teamwork.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain production, quality, safety, and shift documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce operational procedures.
