Job summary

Viatris is seeking a capable Utility Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing and packaging operations, ensure schedules, quality and safety, and coordinate staffing across shifts. You will partner with peer supervisors, conduct huddles, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring new employees.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree, 4–7 years' relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in GMP, SAP, TrackWise and LMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to flex schedule to cover production needs.
• Strong communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing, equipment operation, setup, changeovers and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SAP, TrackWise and LMS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peer supervisors to ensure consistent execution of production priorities, expectations and standards across shifts.
• Supervise daily manufacturing and packaging operations to meet production schedules, quality and safety standards.
• Conduct shift huddles and communicate production priorities and KPIs.
• Provide supervisory coverage during vacations, absences, and gaps across multiple production areas.
• Communicate production results, staffing, training, quality events and operational risks to Manufacturing Management.
• Monitor staffing levels and allocate resources to support priorities.
• Support start-up, shutdown, line clearance and changeover activities.
• Assist onboarding and qualification of new manufacturing employees.
• Monitor training progress and identify development opportunities.
• Assist in verifying job proficiency and readiness for qualification sign-offs.
• Support investigations, deviations, CAPAs and quality improvement initiatives.
