Job summary

McKee Foods Corporation in Gentry, AR is seeking a maintenance technician to service and repair process equipment on the 3rd shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, set up packaging equipment, diagnose failures, and rebuild components to ensure reliable operations.

This on-site role requires 2+ years of automated equipment maintenance or equivalent training, strong electrical/electronic knowledge, safety commitment, and solid communication and PC skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience maintaining automated industrial equipment or equivalent technical training.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic controls.
• Commitment to safety and product quality.
• Above-average mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude.
• Self-motivated, creative and team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Proficient in PC usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all process equipment.
• Set up and change over packaging equipment as required.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures in a multi-skilled environment.
• Rebuild equipment and components to ensure reliability.
• Modify and enhance equipment performance as needed.
• Provide technical assistance to production teams.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and communicate with team members.
• Operate tools, vehicles, and computers for troubleshooting and repair tasks.
• Keep maintenance shop and toolbox clean and organized.
• Participate in training programs to improve technical skills.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay

$27.63-$33.76 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Plus $2.00 / hr shift premium for 3rd shift hours

3rd Shift Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. (Other days and hours as needed)

Required Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic controls
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and product quality
• Above-average mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude
• Self-motivated, creative, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Proficient in PC usage

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in general industrial maintenance
• 1 year of experience with metal fabrication
• Experience in installing automated equipment
