Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to quickly repair and troubleshoot high-speed packaging equipment during downtime. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, line changeovers, and adjustments for varying product dimensions to maximize uptime.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on experience with packaging machinery, strong electrical know-how, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience with high-speed packaging equipment.
• Ability to perform line changeovers and adjustments for product dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid repair and troubleshooting on high-speed packaging equipment during downtime.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum line reliability.
• Perform line changeovers, adjusting machinery for varying product dimensions and formats.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic actuators, conveyor systems, sensors, and mechanical drives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize waste and increase throughput.

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Execute planned preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum line reliability.
• Perform line changeovers, adjusting machinery for varying product dimensions and formats.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic actuators, conveyor systems, sensors, and mechanical drives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize waste and increase throughput.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
