Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical is hiring a Packaging Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Minnesota. You will support the Packaging team by verifying and organizing manufacturing components, moving materials into the Packaging area, and performing material transfers.

The role uses Lifecore’s ERP system to issue materials and ensures GMP-compliant documentation. We offer a four-day work week, a strong benefits package, and growth opportunities within a company focused on development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous documentation.
• Ability to read and follow written operating procedures.
• Pharma/medical industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Issue materials to manufacturing orders using ERP system.
• Return unused components to the warehouse after order completion.
• Coordinate material movement into Packaging area and maintain flow.
• Verify receipt of staged materials and move them into Packaging suite.
• Communicate with warehouse and support staff to ensure readiness.
• Organize storage of various raw materials in Packaging.
• Perform automated picks and reconcile components with GMP documentation.

As a Packaging Material Handler, you will support the Packaging team by verifying and organizing manufacturing components. You will coordinate the movement of product and materials into the Packaging manufacturing area and perform material transfer. On a daily basis you will:

• Electronically issue materials to each manufacturing order using Lifecore’s ERP system
• Perform the physical and electronic activity required to return the unused components to the warehouse after completion of each order
• Communicate with warehouse and other support personnel to ensure materials are ready when needed
• Verify receipt of staged materials into the Packaging area
• Move materials into the Packaging suite
• Identify methods for organization of various types of raw material storage in Packaging
• Execute automated picks of materials to manufacturing orders while in process and returns to warehouse as jobs are completed
• Perform reconciliation of components and document activity according to Good Documentation and Good Manufacturing Practices

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:15pm - 1:45am
Starting Pay: $23.00/hour + $1.25/hour 2nd shift premium
