Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Material Handler for the 2nd shift to support the Packaging team by issuing and moving materials, coordinating transfers, and ensuring components are ready for manufacturing orders.

You will reconcile components and document activity following GMP and Lifecore procedures. The role offers a four‑day work week and a strong benefits package, including medical plans, PTO, holidays, and a company‑matched 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with meticulous documentation.
• Ability to follow written operating procedures.
• Experience in warehouse or production within medical/pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Electronically issue materials to manufacturing orders using Lifecore’s ERP system.
• Move materials into the Packaging suite and reconcile components.
• Coordinate material transfers and ensure materials are ready when needed.
• Verify receipt of staged materials and return unused components to the warehouse.
• Execute automated picks and document activity per GMP and good documentation practices.

As a Packaging Material Handler, you will support the Packaging team by verifying and organizing manufacturing components. You will coordinate the movement of product and materials into the Packaging manufacturing area and perform material transfer. On a daily basis you will:

• Electronically issue materials to each manufacturing order using Lifecore’s ERP system
• Perform the physical and electronic activity required to return the unused components to the warehouse after completion of each order
• Communicate with warehouse and other support personnel to ensure materials are ready when needed
• Verify receipt of staged materials into the Packaging area
• Move materials into the Packaging suite
• Identify methods for organization of various types of raw material storage in Packaging
• Execute automated picks of materials to manufacturing orders while in process and returns to warehouse as jobs are completed
• Perform reconciliation of components and document activity according to Good Documentation and Good Manufacturing Practices

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:15pm - 1:45am
Starting Pay: $23.00/hour + $1.25/hour 2nd shift premium
