Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking a skilled packaging maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging equipment across the Packaging Area. You will handle preventive maintenance, generate work orders, and report deficiencies promptly while adhering to safety and training requirements.

The role requires the ability to weld arc/heli-arc, read blueprints, lift heavy loads, and work overtime or weekends as production demands dictate.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively and perform on-the-spot corrections in emergencies.
• Must be able to weld (arc/heli-arc) and use a cutting torch proficiently.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Willingness to cross-train in the Processing Maintenance area.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and work on wet floors.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and shifts as required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging equipment across the Packaging Area.
• Generate work orders; store requisitions and report deficiencies promptly.
• Complete all required training per company and government regulations.
